Depending on your path to licensure, more than one transmittal option may be available to choose from. Fees vary. We offer four transmittal services to active CLARB Record Holders:

Processing times
Standard transmittals are typically processed in 5-7 business days but may take up to 14 business days during high-volume periods.
Expedited service is available for an additional fee. Your transmittal request will receive priority handling and be processed within 1-2 business days. This upgrade is nonrefundable.
Initial licensure transmittal
You have completed the L.A.R.E. and are pursuing your first landscape architecture license.
Your CLARB Record must be complete, including:
- Education verified by CLARB
- Experience verified by CLARB
- Examination results verified/populated by CLARB
Reciprocal licensure transmittal
You hold a current landscape architecture license and are pursuing an additional license.
Your CLARB Record must be complete, including:
- Education verified by CLARB
- Experience verified by CLARB
- Examination results verified/populated by CLARB
- Current active license
Exam approval transmittal
You have not taken the L.A.R.E. and need approval to register for the exam.
Some candidates must be approved by licensure boards to ensure that you meet their requirements to take the L.A.R.E.
During the exam registration process, your Record will be transmitted to the board for approval before you can proceed to register for the exam.
Exam results transmittal
You need to send exam results only to a licensure board.
Available if you have completed all sections of the L.A.R.E.
Your CLARB Record is not included and doesn't have to be complete for this type of transmittal.
