Exam registrations cannot be transferred or rescheduled for future administrations. Should you need to cancel one or more exam sections, you must cancel by the administration’s cancellation deadline (the last day of registration) to receive a refund.
Effective October 1, 2026: You must cancel your exam registration and appointment through the PSI portal(opens in new tab). This will automatically revoke your exam authorization and process your refund, if eligible. Note that you'll need to schedule an appointment before you can cancel your registration.
Refunds are typically issued to the original form of payment less the cancellation fee within 10 days. Cancellation requests received after the cancellation deadline are not eligible for a refund. Candidates who do not cancel through PSI may be ineligible for refund.
Good cause
If you are unable to attend your exam due to severe physical or emotional hardship, you may qualify for a Good Cause refund. Candidates who are approved under this policy will receive a refund to the original form of payment less the cancellation fee.
All requests for Good Cause should be submitted as soon as possible and must be received no later than 30 days after the exam administration. Contact CLARB regarding the documentation required to request a Good Cause refund.
CLARB Record
Renewal
- Your CLARB Record renews annually.
- We will send courtesy reminders by email as your renewal date approaches.
- Your payment will be processed during the first business week of the month that follows your expiration date. For example, if your Record expires on January 31, then your payment will be processed during the first week of February.
- You will receive a payment confirmation by email. If you have not received this confirmation by the seventh day of the month, please contact our Support Team to ensure you continue enjoying the full benefits of your Record.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be completed by your Record’s expiration date. To find your expiration date, visit the CLARB Record renewal status section at the top of your Record. Once renewed, cancellation requests must be received by CLARB within 30 days of the payment processing date.

Events
Virtual or in-person event registrations must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the event's posted registration deadline to receive a full refund. Cancellation requests received after the cancellation deadline are not eligible for a refund. Event registrations cannot be transferred to another participant or event.
To cancel an event registration, please contact CLARB. A refund will be issued to the original form of payment within 10 days.
