Ryan currently serves as a member of the Leadership Advisory Council, with his term beginning in 2022. He has been a continuous volunteer for CLARB for several years. He has served on the Exam Committee for Section 4, the Job Task Analysis Committee and the Leadership Advisory Council.
Ryan is a principal and partner at PLOT Studio, where he leads strategic design initiatives, mentors emerging landscape architects and guides the studio’s expanding portfolio of public space, institutional and civic projects. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Sunrise Rotary, Conservation Alabama and Conservation Alabama Foundation, and ACE Mentors of Alabama. Ryan is an active volunteer with Design Alabama and the Hoover Soccer Club. He resides in Hoover, Alabama, with his wife, Jennafer Collins.
