Keven currently serves as a member of the Leadership Advisory Council with his term beginning in 2024. He has previously collaborated with CLARB through ASLA as vice president of Government Affairs, working to defend licensure and advance uniform licensure codes.
Keven is a senior landscape architect and studio director for TERRA Engineering, a multi-disciplinary firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. He holds an associate’s degree in architectural construction technologies from Illinois Central College and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University. A registered landscape architect in multiple Midwest jurisdictions, Keven has held numerous positions within the Illinois Chapter of ASLA, including president, and has served on the ASLA National Board of Trustees and as national vice president of Government Affairs. He was the recipient of the Iowa State University Design Achievement Award for Landscape Architecture in 2008. Keven is also a founding officer of the ASLA Sustainable Design & Development professional practice network and continues to contribute to the development and promotion of the Sustainable Sites Initiative and the landscape architecture profession.
