Katie possesses a unique ability to work with a wide spectrum of people; facilitating and synthesizing different perspectives into projects. She carries a flexible and optimistic nature that inspires enthusiasm. Familiar with LEED and WELL; Katie is always looking to incorporate green, healthy and sustainable practices into design. She holds great respect toward the power of place and the need to connect people’s lives and livelihoods to the landscape.

Katie earned her Master’s of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho and has been a Licensed Architect since 2014. Wilson built her career in Jackson, Wyoming working on a large variety of projects including office buildings, museums, schools and numerous high-end custom homes throughout Teton County, Wyoming.

She was appointed by the Governor of Wyoming to serve on the State of Wyoming Fire Prevention Council. She also serves on the Teton County Building Appeals Board and Town of Jackson Planning Commission in which she recently worked to update the local land development regulations and advocate for local affordable housing solutions. Katie is deeply involved with the American Institute of Architects and recently served as the Senior Regional Director of the Western Mountain Region and on the National Strategic Council where she focused on architectural education innovation. She supports aspiring architects through her work with the Wyoming Architectural Education Foundation.

Katie has been awarded the Young Architect Award from AIA Wyoming, Wyoming Business Report’s 40 Under 40, the Pettigrew Leadership Scholarship from the AIA Western Mountain Region, and is a Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance’s Local Roots Honoree. Katie has also taken on multiple local volunteer roles in Jackson and believes the connection to community helps her “better understand the physical, human, political, historical, economic and cultural factors that affect people, natural environments and design.”
