About

The National Association of Minority Landscape Architects (NAMLA) is dedicated to empowering minority landscape architects by removing barriers to entry, supporting career advancement and fostering visibility for BIPOC professionals. From small business grants and licensure support to national directories and scholarship competitions, NAMLA is building a more inclusive and representative future for landscape architecture.

Mission

NAMLA’s mission is to increase minority representation across all areas of landscape architecture — both in practice and academia.

Areas of Collaboration

CLARB and NAMLA share a commitment to expanding access within the profession. Together we collaborate on initiatives that remove barriers to licensure and promote greater diversity in landscape architecture. CLARB proudly supports NAMLA’s work through programs like L.A.R.E. preparation grants and ongoing efforts to advance accessible pathways into the profession.
