The Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) is dedicated to increasing the impact and influence of landscape architects in shaping a more sustainable, just and resilient future. Through research, scholarships, leadership initiatives and strategic programs, LAF empowers landscape architects with the knowledge, resources and support needed to drive meaningful change in communities and the environment.
Mission
Advancing people, ideas and next practices, LAF works to increase the influence and impact of landscape architects to create a more sustainable, just and resilient future. Through thought leadership, signature programs and strategic initiatives, LAF provides resources, knowledge sharing and inspiration to empower landscape architects to use their unique skills to change the world.
Areas of Collaboration
CLARB and LAF collaborate through the Presidents Council, an informal working group that also includes ASLA, CELA, CSLA and LAAB. This group brings together staff and volunteer leaders to address shared challenges, uphold strong professional standards and advance initiatives that support the landscape architecture profession across the United States, Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands and Canada.
