About
The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) is the national organization representing landscape architects across Canada. With over 3,200 members, including professionals and students, CSLA is dedicated to advancing the art, science and practice of landscape architecture. The organization provides leadership on key industry issues, advocates for the profession’s growth and fosters excellence through education, recognition programs and national initiatives.
CSLA also serves as a unifying body for provincial and territorial landscape architecture associations, ensuring a strong, cohesive voice for the profession at the national level.
Mission
CSLA’s mission is to provide support and resources to their members, advocate for the profession, to provide solutions facing current and future challenges, and demonstrate the value of landscape architecture.
Areas of Collaboration
CLARB and CSLA collaborate through the Presidents Council, an informal working group that also includes ASLA, CELA, LAAB and LAF. The Presidents Council brings together staff and volunteer leaders from these organizations to address shared challenges, advocate for strong professional standards and advance initiatives that benefit the landscape architecture profession across the United States, Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands and Canada.
