An update on our platform transition
Our planned platform upgrade has been delayed. We're taking additional time to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible.
The brief service interruption we previously announced, including a temporary pause to the CLARB Record, will happen later this year. We'll share updated timing as soon as it's confirmed.
Thank you for your continued patience as we work toward a better experience for you.

Looking ahead
We're continuing work on the next phase of our modernization project, which will bring significant improvements to our online account platform and the CLARB Record.
To ensure we deliver the best possible experience, we've extended our development timeline. The new platform will launch in mid-2026, giving our team additional time to refine key features that will make managing your account easier and more efficient.
We're excited to share more details about these improvements in the coming months. Thank you for your continued patience as we build a platform that truly serves your needs.
On the horizon
The next phase of our modernization project will focus on our online account platform — with big improvements coming to the CLARB Record in early 2026.
Thank you for your understanding during this transition and for the valuable feedback you share that helps us serve you better.
New website debuts late August
We're excited to share that our new website is set to launch later this month. Most of your important business — like updating your Record, requesting transmittals and other key functions — will continue uninterrupted.
We expect some homepage downtime for one to two days, but don't worry. You can still access your account using this direct link:
Updated timeline
As we've mentioned, we're working on big improvements to our technology systems. Our launch date has been postponed to later this year. We will share more details as soon as we’re able.
Please take a moment to confirm your CLARB email subscription preferences to make sure you don't miss important announcements.
April testing
As we've mentioned, we're working on big improvements to our technology systems.
We do expect a brief service interruption, but don't worry! The downtime will not impact the April testing experience. Exams are administered by our testing partner, PSI.
Exam results are expected to be available late May.
We'll share specific dates soon, so take a moment to confirm your CLARB email subscription preferences to keep up with the latest announcements.
Exciting year ahead
This year promises to be transformative for CLARB, with many exciting developments on the horizon. We look forward to sharing more details in the coming months.
One important note: We will be implementing significant changes to our technology systems in May by upgrading to new platforms. This will involve a brief service interruption, which we are proactively planning to minimize any potential disruption.
In the meantime, please mark your calendar and join us for upcoming CLARB events.

Brand
You will start to notice our new logo throughout our communications as we phase out our former visual identity.
Transforming to serve you better
You may begin to notice something different around here. We're getting a fresh new look! But like your favorite landscape architecture project, it's what's beneath the surface that really matters. We’re planning big improvements over the next year to support our mission and the way we do business with you. Here's what's in store:
Database
The cornerstone of this effort is the implementation of a new database set to launch in mid-2025. This new system will offer more efficient, automated and user-focused processes, including self-service capabilities and individualized guidance throughout the licensure process.
Communication enhancements are also underway, based on feedback from a recent survey. We are changing our email platform to provide more tailored messaging and give you greater control over the types of communications you receive from CLARB. These changes will be implemented by the end of 2024.
Website
Additionally, we’re planning a complete website overhaul, focusing on improving navigation and content organization to better serve our various audience groups. The new website will launch alongside the new database in 2025, incorporating extensive user testing and stakeholder input to ensure a dramatically improved user experience.
Brand
CLARB is developing a new brand identity to reflect our professionalism and forward-thinking approach. With a small full-time staff, the transformation will be gradual, and the most significant changes will coincide with the new website launch in 2025.
Your input is invaluable as we roll out these exciting changes. We're committed to continuous improvement, and your feedback challenges us to excel. Please feel free to share your thoughts and experiences with us throughout this transformation.
