It doesn’t matter if you’re new to CLARB or you’ve held a Record for years, everyone is eligible to participate in our drawing. We're waiving Record fees for 50 lucky ASLA Conference attendees. That means a free first year if you're just starting or reactivating your Record, or a free renewal if you’re an active Record Holder.

Stop by the CLARB Emerging Professionals Zone inside the EXPO for your chance to win.

And while you're there, ask about everything your Record can do for you. Free continuing education courses, leadership training and more perks are rolling out all the time.

Contest rules

Eligibility: All 2026 ASLA Conference attendees are eligible, regardless of whether they currently hold a CLARB Record. Limit one entry per person.

How to enter: From September 16 to 17, 2026, visit the CLARB Emerging Professionals Zone during the EXPO. Scan the QR code on-site and provide basic contact information to complete your entry. No purchase necessary. Prize is not transferable.

Winner selection: CLARB will randomly select 50 entrants by October 1, 2026, and notify winners by email with instructions for redeeming their free Record.

Redemption: Winners must redeem their prize by October 15, 2026.

Prize details: Entrants who do not currently hold an active Record will receive a free Record for one year. If their Record has lapsed, the reactivation fee will also be waived. Entrants who currently hold an active Record will receive one additional year added at no cost.

Demystifying the L.A.R.E: Your Guide to the Landscape Architect Registration Exam

The L.A.R.E. is a required step toward licensure for landscape architects across the U.S. and Canada, so get ready for the exam with insights straight from the source. CLARB staff and volunteers will walk through the competencies the exam measures, how it's developed and the registration process. We’ll also share what's new for candidates, including updated section subdomain details and a refreshed candidate handbook, and share tips to help you feel confident and prepared on test day.
