Tips for test day

All appointments

You may reschedule your exam appointment, up to 48 hours in advance, during the current testing window. Visit My Event Registrations in My Profile, and follow the directions to "Schedule/reschedule my exam."

Double check your exam appointment time and plan to arrive/log in up to 30 minutes early for the check-in process.
Have your valid identification ready.
Do not have unnecessary items with you when testing. You will not be able to keep them with you.

All test takers must follow local security and safety requirements in PSI test centers.

NEW: PSI has introduced new security wanding protocols at every test center designed to maintain a secure testing environment by ensuring that no unauthorized devices or items enter the testing areas. All test takers will be asked to undergo a metal detection wanding inspection as part of the security checks at the test center.

NEW: Candidates who test in person at a PSI test center may request a handheld calculator and/or use of a whiteboard. All candidates will have access to a digital calculator and whiteboard in the exam software during the exam.
