Leadership Development Program

Self-paced, pre-recorded modules available to anyone interested in getting involved with CLARB.

Monthly virtual trainings for those who have completed all Foundations trainings. These live webinar sessions are led by volunteers, staff and consultants. Topics focus on building CLARB's core leadership competencies.


For newly elected or appointed CLARB volunteers, we offer a combination of self-paced, pre-recorded modules and live, interactive orientation sessions led by CLARB volunteers and staff. 


The final phase is tailored to active volunteers to identify strategic development goals for individual volunteers and the organization as a whole.





Attracting & Retaining the Next Greatest Generation

In the midst of The Great Resignation, attracting and retaining have become imperatives. In this webinar, Kristin Scroggin will let you in on some of her top tips for interviewing, onboarding, training and empowering employees to want to stay with your organization. You’ll also leave with an understanding of the five generations in our current workforce, the common norms and viewpoints of each micro-generation and what that means for you as a leader.

Non-profit Finance 101


Many landscape architecture professionals volunteer for nonprofits in leadership roles, whether at a national association or local chapters, a community charity or a large foundation.
