ASLA + CLARB Licensure Summit

Co-hosted by CLARB and ASLA, this event is designed to unite ASLA chapters and landscape architectural licensure boards from across the United States and Canada.

The summit’s theme, "Empowering Opportunity," is about enhancing standards, empowering stakeholders and educating others in order to shape the future of landscape architecture licensure. Topics include:

• Defending Licensure in a Deregulation Era
• Enlisting Champions: Strategic Volunteer Recruitment
• Understanding the CLARB Uniform Standard and Messaging Workshop
• Multiple Routes, One Destination: Paving the Way for Inclusive Licensure 
• Navigating Legal Landscapes: Best Practices for Statutory and Regulatory Changes 

• Enhancing standards: Adoption and implementation of the CLARB Uniform Standard breaks down barriers to licensure. The Uniform Standard aims to make licensure more equitable and accessible, creating new opportunities for a diverse and inclusive community of professionals.
• Empowering stakeholders: By working together, ASLA Chapters and CLARB Member Boards can drive essential policy changes, like the Uniform Standard, that improve landscape architecture licensure.
• Educating others: Your participation is crucial in defending and shaping landscape architecture regulation for the future. Be a part of the conversation that will set the stage for a more inclusive, accessible and dynamic licensure system.
