FAQ's: Practice Exams

What questions are on the practice exams?
Practice exams feature "retired" questions from previous exams that will not be used on future exams.
How much does it cost?
Practice exams are $25 per section and include three attempts each.
Are practice exams refundable?
All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges or transfers.  
I purchased the wrong practice exam and have already passed that section. Can I receive a refund or exchange?

I purchased a practice test but didn’t get an email.
Be sure to check your junk folder and add support@examstudio.com to your Safe Senders list.  
How long do I have to complete my 3 attempts?
You have one year to complete all three tests, however, when you start a test, you have 72 hours to complete that attempt on the test.
Can I start an exam and then come back later?
Yes, however, once you start a practice test, you have 72 hours to complete that attempt. 
Does the practice test tell me what I get right and wrong and explain the answer?

Yes, the practice test will give you the right answer and explain why. You can review the correct answer and explanation in a few different ways: 

  1. During the exam: click on the Explanation button to see the right answer and the explanation.  

  1. At the end of the exam: after you click End Exam, you can review all of the questions, correct answers and explanations.  

  1. By email following your exam: the email will include the questions, the correct answer and the explanation. *Please note: images will not be emailed. 

Can I share the practice tests or use them with my study group?
No, practice tests may not be shared and are confidential. Only candidates who have purchased a practice test may have access to it.  
Who can purchase a practice test?
Practice tests are only available to candidates for licensure in landscape architecture who are preparing for the L.A.R.E.

Licensed landscape architects, professors and test prep providers are not authorized to purchase CLARB practice tests.
