  • 5 hours - 8:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Section E - Grading, Drainage and Stormwater Management
  • 5 hours - 8:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.

If the jurisdiction in which you are seeking initial licensure is NOT listed below, you must contact that local Licensure/Regulatory Board directly for information about Section C and E of the L.A.R.E.

If you are seeking licensure in one of the following jurisdictions, the following examination information pertains to you. CLARB administers Section C and E of the L.A.R.E. for the following jurisdictions ONLY. The following information pertains to CLARB Test Center candidates ONLY.

The following jurisdictions participate as a CLARB Test Center for the graphic portions of the exam. All candidates wishing to sit for the graphic portions of the exam in one of these jurisdictions must register through CLARB. Candidates may take the exam at any available CLARB Test Center.

Any candidate who is NOT seeking initial licensure in one of the above listed jurisdictions should contact his or her local Licensure/Regulatory Board
directly for deadline and fee information for the graphic sections.

Deadlines:

Any candidate who is NOT seeking initial licensure in one of the above listed jurisdictions should expect to make application at least 4 months prior to the exam administration by applying directly to that local Licensure/Regulatory Board
of which they are seeking initial licensure.

Regular Registration Deadline – October 10, 2008

Late Registration Deadline - October 31, 2008

Exams ordered after the regular registration deadline will be subject to a $100 late fee per section.

Cancellation Deadline – October 10, 2008

This is the last day to cancel your examination in accordance with the Cancellation Policy.

Exam Cost Section C - $407** ($370 - Current Council Record Holders)

*Exam Section Fee - $270
*Administration Fee - $100 (per section)
*Registration/Processing Fee - $37 per section - waived for current Council Record Holders)

**After October 10th (additional $100 late fee will apply)

*Exam Section Fee - $270

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your registration, you must do so by contacting CLARB in writing by the specified cancellation date. The Registration/Processing Fee is non refundable. Cancellations after the deadline will not be accepted.

Good Cause Policy

Should a candidate be unable to attend the exam administration due to severe physical or emotional hardship, examination fees will be refunded. The Registration/Processing Fee is non refundable. Please contact the Council office for specific requirements for submitting documentation for consideration for Good Cause. Good Cause requests must be made within 90 days of the administration.

Exam Section Fee:

The exam section fee covers the cost to prepare and score the
test(s).

Administration Fee:

The administration fee covers the administrative, facility and proctoring fees associated with administering the exam.

Registration/Data Processing Fee

This fee covers the cost for CLARB to establish and maintain the registration system, record and maintain examination scores and transmit the examination scores to state or provincial registration boards when requested by the examinee.

Note: The registration fee is waived for candidates who hold a current CLARB Council Record.
