When entering into the field of landscape architecture, having the ability to say you are working towards or have earned a license will make you highly marketable to potential employers. Many businesses make licensure a requirement for those professionals who have involvement with impacting the health, safety and welfare of the public. Earning a license puts landscape architects on par with other licensed design professionals and allows landscape architects to lead multidisciplinary design teams.
